About
Rottem is an experienced Psychodynamic Counsellor and Psychotherapist, MBACP (Accred), a certified Clinical Supervisor, and an experienced tutor in counselling courses. She works in Private Practice in NW London and Online. Registered and Accredited with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy MBACP (Accred).
Her practice is underpinned by her significant clinical experience in mental health work in various settings and roles, in the UK and abroad. Her experience includes counselling and psychotherapy positions in several organisations, supervision in private practice and a charity organisation setting, and clinical psychology placements (as part of completing her clinical psychology training) in a psychiatric hospital, a municipal health service, and the education system. She is experienced in cross-cultural and diverse environments.
She is an experienced teacher in counselling courses. She is the core tutor of the Certificate in Counselling Skills course (face-to-face training) at Highgate Counselling Centre (HCC) for the last 6 years, and has also taught on HCC’s Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling, which is accredited by the BACP.
Rottem also holds a role as a professional advisor to “Changing Model", a centre promoting positive body image, which offers lectures and workshops for teenagers, parents, and educational teams.
Rottem had an earlier career in the software industry, where she held senior roles in leading technology companies, with a focus on strategy, business development, and technological innovation. She has extensive experience in managing teams, and processes of change and growth.

Supervisor training- ‘Certificate in Clinical Supervision Including Online and Telephone Working’, By ‘Counselling Tutor’. The course is aligned to BACP supervision framework, level 6 equivalent. (2025-2026)
